On Saturday 6th July we witnessed Marion Bartoli, a French girl, winning the Ladies Final at Wimbledon , England.
And coincidentally, across the Channel, an Englishman - Chris Froome, was winning the 8th Stage, the Yellow Jersey and becoming the joint leader in the King of the Mountains - in this year's Tour de France.
